Additional Training Opportunities
Fams have partnered with CCWT to offer the following training courses to members of the Fams Network:
- Engaging with Clients
- Identifying and Responding to Domestic and Family Violence
- Sexual Behaviour in Children and Young People
- Making Effective Referrals
- Signs of Alcohol and Other Drug Use and Withdrawal
To enrol in one of these courses please follow the instructions below:
- Go to the website lms.acwa.asn.au
- Follow the instructions on the right hand side to create an account.
- The username is your email address. You must use your work email address to access these courses.
- Your password needs to be at least 5 digits and contain letters and numbers. If at any stage you forget this password you can use the Forgot Password feature on the home screen to reset this.
- Once an account has been created, you will receive an email to verify the account. Follow the link provided to confirm.
- Choose the course that you would like to attend
- You will then be asked for an enrolment key. The enrolment key for all courses is fams. Please do not share this enrolment key with anyone outside of your organisation.
- On completion of the course you will receive a Certificate of Completion

The Mental Health Coordinating Council is offering a FREE webinar on:
Mental Health, the NDIS and people living in Rural and Remote areas
Wednesday 17th February 2020 – 12pm – 1pm AEDT
with special guests sharing their lived experience, as well as representatives from organisations including Rural and Remote Mental Health, and Marathon Health.
The webinar will explore:
- Some of the unique challenges of people living in rural and remote areas when it comes to mental health and service access
- Perspectives on the challenges of NDIS access and planning in rural and remote areas, and practical ways to overcome them
- Answers to participant questions, with a Q&A panel discussion
- What free resources are available to support you with the NDIS process.
