History of Sector Connect
Sector Connect was first set up in 1999 by a group of local service providers who had the vision for SW Sydney community services to be represented and supported in its own right. Other peaks such as NCOSS also supported this work. The organisation was officially incorporated as “Macarthur Community Forum” in 2000 and changed its name to Sector Connect Incorporated in 2008 to reflect the expanding service area.
Sector Connect operates with an elected Board made up of representatives from across the region.
